The fleet on a screen. The customer on the same page.
A live operations app for couriers, food delivery, and field trades. Vehicles tracked, drops sequenced, ETAs honest, proof-of-delivery captured. Customer self-serve where it earns its keep, operator screen where it doesn't.

What's in the build
Six pieces, one workflow.
Vehicles, drivers, drops — live GPS, ETA, proof-of-delivery, on one operator screen.
01 · Live fleet view
Where every vehicle is, right now.
Operator screen: every vehicle on a map, drop sequence, ETA, driver status. Anomalies (long stop, off-route) flagged in colour. The supervisor doesn't ring drivers to ask.

ETA per vehicle
Anomaly colour-coding
02 · Route optimisation
The shortest path, by traffic and time.
Drops auto-sequenced for shortest distance, with time-window constraints. Re-optimised mid-day if a drop drops out. Drivers get the new sequence on the phone, no calls.

03 · Customer ETA
Honest. Live. Earns trust.
Customer gets a tracking link with live ETA, narrowing as the driver approaches. SMS / email at status changes. Fewer 'where's my driver?' calls. More 'thanks' replies.

04 · Proof of delivery
Photo, signature, geo-stamped.
Driver completes drop with photo + signature on the app. Geo + time stamped. Stored against the order. Disputes resolved in seconds, not days.

05 · Driver app
What they need. Not what the agency built.
Driver-side app: today's drops, the next one, the route, the customer's note, one-tap nav. Offline-tolerant. Battery-conscious. Designed for a phone in a cradle.

06 · Operator dashboard
Drops, driver minutes, miles, exceptions.
Live: drops completed, drops on time, drops failed, miles driven, idle time, exceptions by reason. Daily summary email. Weekly trend report. Decisions on data.

Sample engagement
The London courier that cut customer-call volume in half.
12 vehicles. 600 drops a day. Three dispatchers on the phones.
A same-day courier ran on Whatsapp groups and a paper run-sheet. Customers rang the office for ETAs at peak. We shipped a fleet app: live GPS, customer tracking link, photo POD, route auto-sequence. Three months in: customer-call volume down 54%, on-time-drop rate up from 81% to 94%, three previously unattributable failures explained per week.
How we measure: Customer-call volume tracked from PBX logs (n = 12 weeks pre/post), on-time-drop rate measured against booked window, exceptions tracked via reason code in the app.
